# Superweb > Superweb is a native HTTP server written in C and assembly, built by SiteVue. It serves static files and proxies HTTP API requests and WebSocket sessions. This is the official developer site, with free preview binaries, configuration documentation and reproducible performance reports. The current preview is 2026.10. Downloads cover Linux ARM64 (Ubuntu 24.04 / Graviton2 or newer), macOS 26+ Apple Silicon, and macOS 26+ Intel with AVX2. The Intel download is HTTP/1.1 only. Free downloads do not imply an open-source license. TLS builds accept HTTP/1.1 and HTTP/2 clients. Proxy backends use cleartext HTTP/1.1; WebSockets use HTTP/1.1 Upgrade. Upstream HTTP/2, upstream TLS, HTTP/3, WebTransport and gRPC trailer forwarding are not implemented. Superweb serves game files and transports traffic; game simulation belongs in the backend and browser. Each benchmark describes a particular build, workload and environment. The AWS static comparison is a burst test interrupted by network throttling, with failures retained. Game and HTTP proxy tests are separate experiments, not rankings against nginx, Caddy or lighttpd. Keep conditions, errors and measured binary versions with any quoted numbers. Process PSS is used server RAM; host RAM is a separate metric. ## Documentation - [Overview](https://superweb.to/index.html.md): Features, supported downloads and benchmark summaries. - [Server reference](https://superweb.to/docs.html.md): Installation, configuration, TLS, caching, HTTP/2 proxy limits, WebSockets and game hosting. - [Installer](https://superweb.to/install.sh): Inspectable shell installer; installs under ~/.local and verifies archive checksums. - [Download checksums](https://superweb.to/downloads/SHA256SUMS): Current SHA-256 hashes for the preview archives and game starter. ## Benchmark evidence - [AWS static comparison](https://superweb.to/benchmarks/aws-report.html.md): Superweb, nginx, Caddy and lighttpd on separate t4g.nano instances; three complete rounds, nine timeouts in the interrupted fourth round, raw JSON links. - [CPU and used RAM](https://superweb.to/benchmarks/aws-resources.html.md): Separate resource study with process PSS, achieved throughput, errors and network constraints. - [Game traffic](https://superweb.to/benchmarks/games-report.html.md): WSS connection success, message latency, sustained run, CPU and used RAM; before/after Superweb builds. - [HTTP/1.1 streaming](https://superweb.to/benchmarks/http-proxy-report.html.md): Slow-API interference with WebSocket and static traffic on one worker. - [HTTP/2 multiplexing](https://superweb.to/benchmarks/h2-proxy-report.html.md): Sixteen delayed APIs sharing a TLS connection with fast API and static streams; client configuration diagnostics retained. - [Historical M5 Max comparison](https://superweb.to/benchmarks/report.html.md): Local HTTP/1.1 measurements; separate from the AWS experiments. ## Optional - [Combined reference](https://superweb.to/llms-full.txt): Full server documentation and all six benchmark reports in one text file, generated from the public HTML. - [Browser comparison](https://superweb.to/compare.html): Interactive iframe load-event timer; requires a browser and includes browser/network costs, not lazy-resource completion. - [SiteVue](https://sitevue.ai/): Superweb's builder.
